As the Clinical Supervisor of Psychotherapy Works, Inc., I successfully treat a variety of sexual challenges including but not limited to: porn addiction, sex addiction, rapid ejaculation, vaginismus, betrayal, and mismatched libidos in the couple-ship. I have trained at the Early Parent Child Center in Santa Monica, the Southern California Counseling Center, and with Dr. Patrick Carnes and other esteemed professionals in the field of sex addiction. My therapeutic approach is sex positive, psycho-dynamic and utilizes Attachment Theory, spirituality, EMDR, and Mindfulness.  Educated at New York University, Columbia University, and Antioch University at Los Angeles, I have a MA in Writing from NYU and a MA in Psychology from Antioch.  After years of working as a writer I found myself drawn to work as a therapist.

There is no heartbreak like the betrayal of a romantic partner or spouse; whether the catalyst is infidelity, sexual dysfunction, or the torture of living a lie, intimacy problems can be extremely painful and shame producing. I try to encourage clients to identify choices they have made in the past in order to see the ways that new choices will lead to new outcomes. Destructive patterns when held as relational keys are actually keepers of hope that unlock new beginnings. My office is a shame free, confidential collaborative zone; ultimately darkness and light cannot coexist. In the spirit of mystery and love shame inducing survival strategies are let go of and/or transformed. The way to change your life is to change yourself.
